I HAVE A HOME!!!!!

Wow! What a great ride this has been! We've played to sellout crowds over and over and EVERYONE LOVES ME!!!! I'm truly a star now, look out Taco Bell Chihuahua your job may be in jeopardy!

I got to spend the night with a bunch of different families this week, some of them were "trying me out" to see if they might want to adopt me. One of the families decided that they DID want to adopt me and now I get to go home with them on Sunday after the last show! My family has five kids and a huge yard with a fence so I can run and run. I'm so excited that I'm going to go home for good.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to give me a happy ending....I sure got one! I won't be an orphan anymore!!!!! Love, Sandy

September 30 - Into the Home Stretch

WOW! We've been working really hard getting ready for this play. I'm (of course) exceeding everyone's expectations with my wonderful stage presence. I love being around all the kids and I LOVE being the center of attention! Today I got a bath, yuck, so that I'll smell really pretty for the show; and tomorrow I hear that I'm going to get ANOTHER one!

Unfortunately, my trainers had a medical emergency that prevented them from working with me prior to the show. But they've promised to give my new owners a free basic obedience training package (SIX SESSIONS) after the show has ended. Speaking of my new owners....I don't have any yet, so I'm hoping that someone will adopt me soon!

Don't forget to buy your show tickets!!!! www.cytatlanta.com has all of the info

September 26 - I'm going to be a STAR!!!

What a week! I love my foster family; and now I get to go visit some other families, too! They decided it would be good for me to socialize with as many people as I can, so I'm having a lot of fun meeting new people. On Thursday I got to go to a school and spend the whole day with the kids and the teachers....of course everyone LOVED me! Then on Friday I went to the vet for a check-up. Dr. Colby at Windward Animal Hospital was really nice, even though he poked me with a needle and gave me some medicine. He said I looked great!

The best day was Saturday. I got to spend the whole day with the Annie cast. All the kids loved me, and I met my show handler, Chandler...hey, that's kind of funny :) I've been really good and friendly because I just know that sometime I'll meet someone who will want to adopt me.

I'm trying to get some new pictures to put on my blog. Hopefully I'll have them in a couple of days.

September 18, 2009 Settling In

Wow I love it here! I'm making lots of new friends, human and animal, and it's so nice to have a family who takes good care of me. I know that CYT is working really hard to find me a permanent home, so now I'm just waiting and hoping for a family.

My training is going to begin soon. I got to go to the rehearsal for a little while tonight and meet some of the cast members....they were all so nice and I jumped up on every one of them. My foster mom says that I'm going to have to learn not to do that; but I just get so happy when I'm meeting someone new, I can't help myself!

Here are some pictures of me from the past few days.
